NACUSO’s CUSO Awards, presented during 2026 Reimagine, recognize the organizations and leaders who are turning collaboration into results and innovation into real-world impact for credit unions and their members. 

These awards honor the CUSOs who aren’t just talking about what’s next—they’re doing the work, strengthening the foundation of the credit union system and helping it grow, adapt, and thrive. 

Award Categories

CUSO of the Year 
This award recognizes an established CUSO that has demonstrated exceptional value to its credit union partners by: 

  • Delivering innovative solutions to real industry challenges 
  • Adding measurable value for members
  • Reducing operational costs and/or increasing income for credit unions 
  • Demonstrating sustainable growth and long-term impact

New CUSO of the Year 
This award celebrates emerging CUSOs that are building momentum early and making a meaningful impact. It is open to CUSOs established within the last five years that are: 

  • Helping credit unions grow and expand 
  • Increasing margins and operational efficiency 
  • Enhancing the member experience with innovative solutions 
  • Demonstrating strong future potential within the credit union system

How It Works

  • All nominations must be received by January 30 at 11:59 CST.
    • CUSOs can be nominated by peers, partners, and industry leaders. Self-nominations are also acceptable. 
    • Conference attendance is not required to apply. However, conference registration is necessary for all who plan to attend.
    • Previous year winners are ineligible.
    • Previous year nominees are welcome to re-apply. 
  • NACUSO will contact the nominated CUSOs to schedule a 30-minute interview facilitated by their awards committee. Interviews will take place between February 15-28.
    • Representatives from both the CUSO and the credit union are welcome to participate in the interview with the nominating committee.  
  • After all interviews have been conducted, all nominees will be notified of their nomination status by February 28.  
  • Award winners will be announced on April 29 during the 2026 Reimagine conference.
